The Upper Oconee Watershed Network has been sampling rivers and streams in this watershed for 20 continuous years. Thanks to people like Norman Hassell, a research tech at UGA when these were taken, research professors, students, and volunteers, the staff of UOWN has been able to document stream quality and contribute to research that affects the way we think about water usage and our affect on the environment.
